Hyd high court defers Palamuru hearing

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday told BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy it will take up hearing of his PIL next week seeking to order probe through the Central Bureau of Investigation into alleged irregularities in revising the cost estimates to purchase elector mechanical equipment for Palamuru Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation Scheme.

The BJP leader has requested a division Bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice K. Vijaya Lakshmi to take up his case.

He submitted that the state government has filed the counter affidavit and he had also filed his reply to it before the court.

The Bench said that it will not possible for it to hear the case on Tuesday and it will take up the case in the next week.
