Hyderabadi Slumdog Becomes Millionaire in IPL

Mohammad Siraj, this name might have sounded unfamiliar until a day ago but not after the IPL auction that was held in Bengaluru on Monday.This Hyderabadi fast bowler was one of the youngest players to have pocketed a lucrative deals at IPL this year's auction. Siraj was signed by Defending Champions Sunrisers Hyderabad for an astronomical sum of Rs 2.6 Cr.

Siraj is the son of an autorikshaw river based in Hyderabad. Having stated playing cricket from 7, Siraj has shown his impressive skills in many tournaments and grabbed the attention of selectors and cricket pundits. He is currently a member of Hyderabad Ranji team. He was also selected for India A which recently played against England and Australia.

During the auction, 3-4 franchises waged a bidding war for Siraj and he was finally signed by home-team Sunrisers Hyderabad by shelling out Rs 2.6 Cr. The young fast bowler said that he would make his father stop driving autorikshaw and also buy a new house with the auction money.
